Amy is an occupational therapist with extensive experience as a clinician and an academic, spanning over twenty years. Amy has experience helping people live with chronic conditions such as pain, particularly people living with cancer pain helping them to maximise their overall health, wellbeing and function.
Amy as a researcher and academic is interested in the application of evidence-based practice in cancer care. Amy has also completed her PhD exploring the adolescent and young adult’s experience of living with cancer.
Amy is a passionate yogi and fills most of her weekend with children, family and sporting activities.
Andrew has worked as an occupational therapist in the cancer sector for the past twenty years including senior roles across a variety of healthcare settings. He has worked in some of the country’s leading cancer organisations including the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre and Leukaemia Foundation of Australia.
Andrew has substantial experience and knowledge of all blood cancers, in particular acute and chronic leukaemias, lymphoma and myelomas. In particular Andrew has a strong interest in helping people manage cancer related fatigue building well-being, rehabilitation and survivorship plans tailored to their individual goals.
