No. Anyone can self-refer and book an appointment to see one of our cancer occupational therapists

This is dependent on the type of appointment required and who is funding the sessions. Individuals can claim back part of this cost of each session via private health insurance fund or via Medicare (using a chronic disease management program ). Please contact us if you would like to discuss payment options at info@selsus.com.au

The number of sessions required to achieve an individuals goals will differ based on a number of factors. The OT will go thru the relevant assessments during the first session to outline the treatment plan for each person. Typically we  would be working with a client for between 4-8 sessions over the course of a few weeks or months.

You can book an appointment online using the button on the 'Book an Appointment/Refer' page. You can also call the clinic on 0402 965 677 or 0412 992 363 and leave a voicemail requesting a call back. Other enquiries can be made via email at info@selsus.com.au .

Our clinic is predominately an online telehealth service (video chat or telephone) designed to increase access for all Australian cancer patients and to keep costs at a minimum. We can see patients face to face in Metropolitan Melbourne, Regional NSW, Geelong/Barwon South West Region and Perth by negotiation.

You will need a laptop, desktop or phone with stable internet connection and an internet browser. We will coach any patient through the process if they have not used any telehealth service before.
